I like my house

Ok...but first I have to tell you two things (maybe 3)...
1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PERNILLA!!!
2. I took this quiz on Facebook about "What Nationality are You?" Here's what it says:
  • Annie completed the quiz THE INNER NATIONALITY QUIZ: WHAT ARE YOU REALLY? with the result You are Swedish. .
You are friendly, gentle, and modest, with a good heart and a lusty nature. You laugh easily, have a well-developed sense of irony, and tend to understand people intuitively. You are interested in new people, but will always maintain notions of insider vs. outsider, and this will lead you to commit to a group of friends and lovers who will be with you your entire life. If you have a weakness it's your timidity -- you feel pressure to remain 'lagom' -- on an even par with others. But this is also your strength.
3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PERNILLA! (ps...tell Hilary to join... I sent her an invite)

Ok...so here is my translation:
Our house now has all its walls and I like it. Soon, I will be able to hide away from my ninas locas, Little E and Big E.

Neither of them can wait to have their own room. Big E told me that she is tired of sharing with her sister and wants her own space to play on the computer and make new Club Penguin pages. (http://www.clubpenguin.com/)

Then she asks, "Mamma, will you still share a room with Papa? Or will you get a room of your own, too?"

I just laugh, because how would we have sexytime if we didn't share a room?

Vi leker i huset

Ok, here is a new one for you! This one is taken from my "building a house blog."

And so does Pernilla...

Three things about me, three things about you!
And now let's see how well she speaks that English language after all...

Three jobs I've had: Guard, grill assistant in a hamburger/sausage place in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm, sales woman for electronic components.

Three places where I have lived: Seville in Spain, Dracut in Massachusetts, USA, and Västerås in Sweden.

Three things I like to watch on TV: Grey's Anatomy, Californication and Brothers and Sisters.

Three favorite dishes: Homemade pizza, Pasta with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese, Chicken in the oven with roasted vegetables and potatoes.

Three places where I'd like to be right now: Seville, Barcelona or New York. (I forgot the very obvious - in my new house three months from now).

And how about you? In your blog or in the comment field.

Annie Translates...

Pernilla throws down a challenge...Annie accepts:

(I think it is some sort of quiz)

What I have done today: I ate, I grilled some dinner, and played with my kids. Then I played on the computer.

I have lived a few places: Sevilla in Spain, Dracut in Massachusetts (USA), and Vasteras (Sweden)

My favorite TV shows: Grey's Anatomy, Californication, Brothers and Sisters

My favorite food: Pizza; sandwich with tomato, basil, and mozzarella (from Leila's cookbook) if you add olive oil, you have an ensalata Caprese; roasted chicken breast with roquefort and fried potatoes.

Places I liked the most: Sevilla, Barcelona, or New York

And you? Add your comments to the bottom of the blog.

Tre saker om mig, tre saker om dig!

This post is from my blog "Skrivarmamma". Let's see what you can make of it. :)

It Starts...

Happystore

==

Annie's translation:
Here are little hanger monkeys from the Happystore. They cost around 129 Kroner.
And an old fashioned medical kit for 195 Kroner.
I wish I had more time to go shopping for fun things. Some people that I know from other blogs suggested these to me. If only my new house were done then I could buy fun things with the snap of my finger.

Welcome!

Hilary and I have a friend in Sweden. She speaks perfect English, but sometimes forgets we don't speak Swedish. So when she writes, we both make up stories that we think go along with what we think she might be posting.

So...we'll show you what the Swede says, and then we'll show you what we think it says. And, if we're lucky...the Swede will make an appearance and clarify for us.

Pure entertainment for us, and perhaps you!
